As excited as Irish fans sure are, as your (allegedly, you might remember me for my K records t-shirt and signed Faber book of love poems in Chicago a few years ago) BIGGEST fan in Mexico I am at a loss for words. Although I’ve been fortunate enough to see you twice, having the chance to see you in my home country is just indescriptible to me. I can’t wait to bring every single soul I’ve met in my entire life to that show so your music can finally reach my country how it should. I just wish all the stars will align for it to happen. Please, PLEASE, if there is anything I can do to help book the venue, dates or if you’re in need of contacts of the gig scene (I dare say) in any state, please, I will be more than pleased to help. This will be the gig of my lifetime. Thank you.
Lovely pubs within easy walking of Button Factory: Grogans, The Long Hall, Mulligans on Poolbeg Street, Kehoes on anne st south, Bowes, The Dame Tavern, The Stags Head. Do NOT go to any pubs in Temple Bar unless you want overpriced Guinness. If you must, The Foggy Dew is the safest bet.
Great pub suggestions. Whilst I wouldn't recommend the pubs in Temple Bar either, it's worth walking down from the Button Factory for a picture outside The Temple Bar.
Also, I've never found any late night food that matches DiFontaines in Dublin.
Wishing I could just spend too much money on a plane ticket and be there for troxy!! Hope that everyone has an absolutely amazing time. And I appreciate addressing tours in other countries, it hurts but it's nice to be informed :) Also I am ecstatic to finally get more LC! on vinyl but I can't just get it yet so I'm hoping it stays in stock. LC4LYF!
