Troxy 2 Night Stand Openers Announced!
PLUS Hold On Now, Youngster... & Romance Is Boring available on vinyl // North America dates coming soon!
It’s one month to the day until our huge Valentines 2 Night Stand at Troxy in London, and we’re delighted to reveal the red hot line-up we’ve put together for it. As if things weren’t looking exciting enough already (Los Camp! playing a bumper set with trumpet, trombone, saxophone, cello and violin, plus full stage design!), we do as we always do, and have invited some awesome acts to open for us.
On Friday 14th February we’ll be joined by Goat Girl, and then jasmine4.t the following night, Saturday 15th February.
Goat Girl are headliners in their own right, so we feel very privileged to have them share the stage with us. I was late to the GG party, finally listening when I saw the artwork to their brilliant ‘Below The Waste’ album, and noted its cosmic coincidental similarities to the All Hell cover art. I’d never have thought that they’d open for us, but then I spotted late last year that band member Holly is an OG LC! fan, and had said some very kind things about us, so we took the plunge and asked. Their gothic garage-pop is gonna hit just right in the beautiful, ornate surroundings of Troxy.
jasmine.4.t has been a favourite of ours in recent times, and she’s on the brink of being massive. Her debut album ‘You Are The Morning’ is out this Friday 17th, on Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory record label, and the album itself is produced by Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. First time I heard Jasmine’s music, 18 months ago, it knocked me for six, immediately calling to mind Elliott Smith. It was one of the few pieces of music I’d heard that captured that same vulnerability without appearing to be attempting to ape it. The music has grown into something that feels more whole, but without losing any of its heart or emotion, check out ‘Elephant’ as a start point if you’re not familiar.
Friday Doors: 7:00pm Goat Girl: 7:45pm LC!: 9:00pm Fin: 10:50pm
Saturday Doors: 7:00pm jasmine.4.t: 8:00pm LC!: 9:00pm Fin: 10:50pm
We’re down to the very last allocation of tickets, and we’ve added the final £5 low income tix for both nights. There are around 50 weekend bundle tickets still remaining at a bargain bundle price. Don’t forget, anyone with a weekend ticket gets an exclusive LC! Valentine’s pin badge (numbered edition of 500), our initials inside a heart tattoo, what could be more fitting?
THERE’S MORE!
On both days, at the nearby George Tavern, from 4pm - 7pm we’ll be hosting a pre-party. Come down early for pre-drinks to meet your fellow LC! fans! We’ll have Drop It DJs playing the bangers to get you in the mood, there’ll be a merch desk to help you avoid the queues at Troxy, plus giveaway Los Camp! beer mats and glassware for you to help yourself to, if you’re an early bird.
We’re putting so much into these shows, and hoping to make the whole evening the ultimate Los Camp! experience for you all. If you’re in two minds about making the trip, or giving up your Valentines Day for us, go for it, make Los Camp! your hot date, we promise it’ll be worth it.
Hold On Now, Youngster… and Romance Is Boring available on vinyl now!
For the first time since 2018 and 2020 respectively, HON,Y… and RIB are back available on vinyl. Both are 2LP releases, feature the fully remastered audio and of course come with lyric inserts!
We know how in demand these releases are and are really glad to finally have them available again. Right now they’re only available in North America (and we thank long-time collaborators Arts & Crafts for their enthusiasm in pressing these titles again), but we hope to be able to make them available in the UK and Europe soon. Get them from our US store (worldwide shipping available) now, or your local North American record store soon.
I know it’s not quite so exciting, but there’s NO BLUES, Sick Scenes and All Hell vinyl available on our UK store.
Los Camp! Hit Ireland Next Month
Unquestionably we are excited about every gig we play, but we’re especially buzzing about our SOLD OUT first visit to Ireland since 2008. As I mentioned before, it’s a destination we’ve been requested to return to by you guys hundreds of times over the past decade and a half, but it’s never worked out before. I know a ton of our Irish fans have taken matters into their own hands and made trips to the UK to see us in the intervening years, so we’re really glad to see you, and hopefully a lot of first-timers, on your home soil.
We’re really pleased to be bringing our dear, talented friend Long Neck to open the show for us, and generally just looking forward to having a really nice time. We’re coming in 24 hours early to enjoy a full Friday afternoon/evening in the city. Please let us know of your recommendations for things to do (ie pubs to drink in), and if anyone’s got a tip for a nice joint for the 10 of us to have a big family meal on the Friday night, we’re all ears!
Doors: 19:00 Long Neck: 19:40 Los Camp!: 20:30 Fin: 22:15
We’ll have a fully stocked merch desk, but it’ll be CASH ONLY.
There are lots of people who missed out on tickets for this show, who are desperate to join us. So if you have a spare ticket, hit us up in the comments and we’ll get it sold.
On the topic of playing shows in countries that aren’t the UK or North America…some insight into the financials of shows like this. It’s a (sold out) 500 capacity venue, and our fee is around the £2,300 mark. The cost of flights (7 band, 3 crew) and getting our gear to Dublin is currently coming out at £2,709. So, that’s a loss even before we’ve considered accommodation, crew wages, food, and all the other expenses that will come up. We don’t mind losing a bit of money, the fun we’ll have is worth it, but it’s not a sustainable practice if we were to do it time and time again. Otherwise we’d be playing the world over!
North America Shows Coming Soon
There are like 20,000 of you on this newsletter now, and when I share info about regionally specific things (I know, I know, the first chunk of this message is going on about a gig in London) I feel very guilty, so I’m going against my better judgement and teasing some things for some of you in other parts of the world…
We should have North American dates announced this month. Maybe early next month.
It is looking highly likely that this will include fucking MEXICO! (can’t believe it, can’t fucking wait)
We’ve confirmed a festival (which I cannot announce yet) in central/Eastern Europe.
2025 gonna be a good year for Los Camp!, we really hope you’ll join us wherever you can!

Some things I’d like to discuss in the comments:
What’re the best pubs within a 20 minute walk of Button Factory in Dublin? What is a nice thing for us to do hungover on the Saturday morning? Any fellow World Service members in attendance?
Based on our 2024 album faves above, are there any records we might have missed but shouldn’t?
Are you gonna get on the ale at the George Tavern Troxy pre-drinks?
Balatro? Balatro.
With love,
LC! x
I had to go to other country to undo the spell so y'all could finally come to MEXICO (highly likely), I AM SO HYPED, YOU JUST MADE MY ENTIRE YEAR AGAIN, I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON.
The new trust fund is my fav album of the year by a long shot, but 22 degree halo, zero point energy (fka warehouse), and youbet all made me feel excited about guitars in a way I haven’t felt in quite some time!
