The 31 year old me now reveling in having a song where I can shout "I'll stay home keep the garden alive" // the 15 year old me in the tiny little crowd at your first Seattle show way back when equally screaming every word to HON,Y. Feels full circle in a lovely way.
As someone who came to the band in 2010 with Romance is Boring, someone who at the time was an unrequited lovesick virgin with a heart full of love, I can't tell you how I felt opening the email this morning and seeing 15 tracks and a handful of references to that record, and Feast of Tongues is incredible. Crazy to think where I am 14 years on from that time, having loved and lost, and yet still loving LC! all the way through. Thank you all so much. I can't wait for the record, which comes out a day after my 34th birthday.
Are you kidding me??? Guys this song is so epic. Well worth the wait. It sounds like the culmination of all of your albums sounds put together. The production is so smooth (the drums especially sound so deep and rich). The album looks great, and I am LOVING that tracklist. The song names are absolutely peak. As a RIB stan forever I've been waiting for a longer album. I have a good feeling that this is going to end up being one of my absolute favorite LC! records. Welcome back guys ❤️🔥🤘 LFG
I can't begin to describe how i felt listening to this, and remembering the first time I listened to Sick Scenes, how I was at my lowest in my life, and the opening bars of Renato D'allaro got me out of bed. And so much has changed for the better and I am crying with joy at getting to hear new LC! music again. I can't wait to scream this live with you all, thank you. Your music means so much to me and I carry it with me in my soul.
