It's ALL HELL week...
London show this weekend, 'Live at Troxy' movie premiere, Bandcamp listening party and more!
The next time we write to you, All Hell will have been released. A 7 year wait for something that is somehow now just 4 days away, and it feels impossible. We’re beyond excited. We’ve got plenty going on over the next couple of days to hopefully help the time pass quickly, but also to continue to amp up the hype. Come along with us!
All Hell Unboxing Vid
I think it’s always when we see the physical version of the record that the reality of an album release hits home. And now I’ve got boxes of them in my house, and they’ll soon be making their way to you ahead of Friday’s release.
If you haven’t yet, there’s still chance to pre-order the album, be it from our online store, your favourite record shop or a digital download on iTunes or Bandcamp.
London Show this Saturday 20th July
We’re celebrating the release of All Hell with a full-band album launch show at Pryzm, Kingston this weekend. Just 24 hours after the album’s release, we want to party with you while we play a 60 minute set of songs new and old. This is our only remaining London gig of 2024, so if you’re in the area, cancel your plans and get there! We’ll also be hanging out and hoping to sign/take photos for as many of you as possible!
Tickets are just £14, BUT if you can afford the £18 you get a copy of the album on CD too, and that’ll be an extra chart sale which could be super helpful as we hope for our first ever UK Top 40 album!
Doors 7pm, we play at 8pm, and are all done by 9pm!
Cardiff // Bristol // Leeds // Liverpool Acoustic Instores
From Sunday to Tuesday next week me, Kim, Rob and Tom will be jumping in a people carrier with our chauffeur Jason and his co-pilot Blink the Dog, and showing up at record stores to play stripped-back versions of LC! songs to you. It’s a long time since we’ve done anything like this, but we’re really looking forward to getting up close and personal. Vibes are going to be very laid-back and there’ll be plenty of opportunity for photographs, signatures and questions.
Access to these is via purchase of a copy of the album from the respective record stores, and you can sort that as follows…
Sunday 21st July - Spillers Records, Cardiff
Sunday 21st July - Specialist Subject @ Exchange, Bristol
Monday 22nd July - Jumbo Records, Leeds
Tuesday 23rd July - Jacaranda Records, Liverpool
If you’ve any questions, they’re probably answered here, but if not, ask away in the comments.
Any lesser played LC! songs you reckon would work good as an acoustic rendition?
‘Live at Troxy’ Premiere this Wednesday
A huge thank you to everyone who’s already pre-ordered All Hell. You are cordially invited to the premiere of the ‘Live at Troxy’ film, which was recorded at our sell-out London show in February earlier this year. The screening will take place on YouTube at 8pm BST this Wednesday 17th July.
If you ordered the album direct from our webstore or bandcamp, you’re on the guestlist and will receive an email between 6pm and 7pm this Wednesday, with the private link. If you’ve ordered the album from a different record store, then please just complete this short form so we can add your details. If you’ve yet to get in on the act, there’s still time, just pre-order the album on any format before midnight on Tuesday 16th July. If you’re unable to join us to watch it live on Wednesday, no problemo, the link will stay active for you to watch at your leisure.
Featuring live footage of full songs, as well as fan interviews and loads of backstage laughs from throughout the day, we’re really pleased with how this turned out and have all reported being brought to tears, or at the very least “welling up” while watching it.
RSVP: Bandcamp Listening Party this Thursday
Are you thinking “I simply cannot wait until Friday to hear All Hell”? If so, here’s a compromise…we will hold a free Bandcamp listening party on Thursday night (8pm BST) where you can have your first listen to the new album in full, on the eve of its proper release.
Needle drops at 8pm, and we’ll be in the chat to share info and anecdotes relating to the songs. Up there is your All Hell Bingo Card, for you to play along at home, including a space for you to add your own Topic That Will Inevitably Crop Up In A Los Camp! Album.
The Line of Best Fit Cover Story
Just before we headed to the States for last month’s tour, Tom and I sat down with the Line of Best Fit to go deep on the new album and Los Camp! in 2024. The two hour chat turned into this mammoth, 6,000 word cover story, featuring exclusive new photos from Martyna Bannister.
There’s a lot of info about All Hell in here, including musical and lyrical spoilers aplenty, so if you wanna remain pure for your first listen later this week, maybe bookmark the link to come back to later!
Thank You 2000 Trees!
Last Thursday we played our first grass festival since 2014, and I’ll be honest, we enjoyed it way more than we ever expected. 2000 Trees is a legit great festival, and the Forest Stage was the perfect spot for us. A huge thank you to any of you that came along to see us, and to Martyna Bannister for shooting some great shots of us.
We’re really hopeful that All Hell will give us opportunity to play more festivals next Summer. If there’s somewhere you want to see us, start bugging the festivals now!
There are about 40 of the US Tour shirts still available and BY POPULAR DEMAND they’re now able to ship to the UK. Shipping will be pricey, sorry, but I know a few of you really wanted one.
All Hell is the July Album of the Month of Glasgow record store Monorail Music. You can read their very kind thoughts on the album PLUS If you’ve yet to pre-order, you can grab the album from them and get a complimentary mix CD, featuring songs that influenced the album. Get it here.
A few fans were asking how they could get hold of the US Record Store exclusive ‘Lunar Rain’ vinyl variant. It’s available to order, shipping to the UK if needed, from Amoeba Records or any of the stores listed here.
There’s a chunky interview with us in the latest issue of Dork magazine. I had a lovely chat with Martyn, but seem to be particularly angry in this one! You can pick up a copy here if you wanna.
Oh yeah, the UK tour! Sheffield and Brighton are sold out. 50 tickets left in Manchester, 40 in Birmingham, Glasgow upgraded and, Bristol’s already sold double the amount we’ve ever played to there before! We’re announcing the openers soon, so get those last tickets while you can!
You hang up, no you hang up, no you hang up. See you in the comments.
LC! x
The most indie fan thing I can do is be up at 5am Friday to be at the listen party. Although I’ll have already heard it by midnight at that point. Maybe twice. Infinite love from Australia. ❤️
odd one here but is there any chance of 20 year rereleases of albums like hon.y and wabwad? would just love to get my hands on a copy. so damn excited for the new release!!!!
