‘All Hell’ receives Pitchfork Best New Music
Can’t say much about this without sounding cloying, but Pitchfork has been a huge part of our band’s ‘career’, and our music fandom, same as it probably has been for a lot of you. Of course, ‘Best New Music’ is a meaningless crown, but it’s one we’re very excited to wear for the first time, and 18 years and 7 albums into being a band that feels very validating.

One last reminder for this! Tomorrow night we celebrate not only the release of All Hell, but also, well, just the beauty of being able to go out with your mates, have a few beers and party on a Saturday night!
Tickets are just £14, BUT if you can afford the £18 you get a copy of the album on CD too.
Doors 7pm, we play at 8pm, and are all done by 9pm!
This is our only London gig of 2024!
Personally Signed Copies of All Hell
Seeing as we’re all gonna be together this weekend, we’re also going to do some personally signed copies of the album, if you want one! These will be signed by all 7 of us. I appreciate you may already have bought a copy, and sorry about that if you have, but this opportunity has only just been presented to us. Hey, it’ll be worth having a spare for when you inevitably wear out your first copy, right?

▶️ All Hail
For when you need a small break from listening to All Hell, here’s a playlist of 50 favourite songs we were listening to while writing and recording the new album.
A couple of the instores we’re doing this coming week have a small number of tickets available. These performances are going to be really fun, and different to how you may have seen us before. Me, Kim, Rob and Tom, with an acoustic guitar, keyboard and percussion, 4 microphones. Playing songs from All Hell, but we’ve also dusted off a fair few lesser (or never?) played LC! songs. Cardiff and Liverpool are Sold Out, but you can still join us at Specialist Subject in Bristol and Jumbo in Leeds.
This piece in Paste, ranking our 7 (seven!) albums to date is super-fun! Is it the same ranking I’d give? No (and All Hell will be in your top-spot by the end of the week), but that’s the great thing about our band, right!? It’s all subjective and esoteric.
We’ll have loads more to say about the album soon, but for now, we’ll just let you listen and enjoy it. If you like it, please share it with your mates, shout about it on your socials, add songs to your playlists, all those things.
